Vatican Files.net aims at the spreading up of in-depth knowledge upon topics relating the history of the Catholic Church and its international relations throughout the history.
Vatican Files.net's cultural proposal is based on the following items:
- the publishing and the diffusion, in whole format, of archival files or other documents of paramount importance for the history of the Catholic Church;
- the availability of a free-debate area by topics touching every periods in Church history,
- the sponsorship and diffusion of every cultural initiative in the field of State-Church history, Catholic Church's diplomatic history, Canon and Ecclesiastical Law.
- the online editing of historical essays and book-reviews by historians.
Vatican Files.net is a no-profit website. It gets no State financing, neither it depends from political parties nor is linked to public or private institutions. It assures in its area the deepest and corteous respectfulness to everyone.
